Recently I have started having problems with my video during gaming. It seems to have started a week ago when I noticed that when I started certain games my screen would act like the pc had turned off and say "HDMI no signal". It would stay like that until I alt tabbed back and forth. Then it would work ok. A couple days after starting that it started having problems with flashing white. Sometimes in the background or in certain areas of the screen sometimes the whole screen. It's still doing that and now it's also to the point of looking like this v v

As you can see, or can't see in this case, it's all screwed up.

    My specs are:

    Vista 32
-ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard,
    -Intel Core2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz (2 CPUs),
    -G.SKILL PI Black 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
-KINGWIN Mach 1 ABT-1220MA1S 1220W ATX / BTX SLI Ready Modular Active PFC Power Supply
    - ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2
    - 1 TB, SATA 3 Gb/s, 32 MB Cache, 7200 RPM WD Caviar Black Hard Drive

It's not the temp cause at the highest it's at 50C. I have updated all of the drivers including the chipset drivers. Still nothing changes. Do you think it could be the video RAM? Any help would be appreciated. This is driving me insane.

RMA your graphics card. It does sound like VRAM failure.
"I loved the P182 so much that, when my wife's system was all noisy and needed all sorts of cleaning, I bought her one. Then, when I wanted a cat, I bought a P182. The P182 is not a cat per se, but it's still an excellent buy."

Thanks a lot. That's what I was thinking. I found a program that's supposed to check the video RAM on the card. Does anyone know how reliable these programs are?
