Hey everyone..just wondering anyone know where i can get a nice video card thats a decent price ad where i can play some good games right now i got a ATI 1600 pro i think dopnt remember id look now but im on the laptop but i dont like ATI ...

Hey everyone..just wondering anyone know where i can get a nice video card thats a decent price ad where i can play some good games right now i got a ATI 1600 pro i think dopnt remember id look now but im on the laptop but i dont like ATI but i played crysis it works fine but u can tel te graphics arnt clear but doesnt freeze or anything but its time for a new video card..i do want a NVIDIA i heard about the 8800's id like to get one of them..any suggestions? thanks

i have an 8800gts and it plays crysis on dx10 mode with 4x AA and medium settings and it works a treat! as for other games it runs most of the moddern games on full or near full. however if you want go a bit higher go for the gtx if your power supply supports it.

i got it for 200 pounds from ebay but many other websites sell it for that. if you buy it in the shops it may be a bit more.

what about this for 188 dollars XFX GeForce 7950 GT Video Card - 550M, 512MB DDR3, PCI Express, SLI Ready, (Dual Link) Dual DVI, HDTV, Video Card....? is that any good

haha i wouldnt mind getting the geforce 8800 ultra but i dnt feel like spending like 600 dollars right now till ig et a better job like after college lol

the 7950 dosent support directx 10 which you really do need for crysis to release its full potential, if you still arent convinced look up crysis directx 9 vs 10 comparasons on youtube

thats an ok card but may struggle with crysis and wont work very well with the future games either.

Go for the newest card, the 8800GT, it is very good from reviews that I read.
