I have an ATI All-in-wonder 9700 video card I had to send back for repair. I bought a Diamond S120 256MB DDR Radeon 9550 to take it's place. I never reinstalled the 9700 card when I got it back, but I kinda miss the multimedia functions with that card. If I put the 9700 back in, will I notice a big change in performance? The rest of the system:
Asus A7N8X2.0 Deluxe with AMD 2500, 1Gig ram, Win XP home, LG 19" LCD.
I do run a few older Sims, do alot of graphic work too.

Thanks,

Chris

Ok im not really the best on ati cards better with nvidia but wouldn't the higher model card be the best to have, and you may notice a change in performance depending on the games you play if your playing The Sims then i would think you wouldn't see any change you might notice a slight increase in fps maybe?, but if you want to test to see you can try "futuremark" http://www.futuremark.com which is a 3d benchmark test and you could test it on both graphics cards and decide, depending on the results.
