OK since no one will reply.. I have another ? that will probably solve it

I have been reading a lot about the HD Radeon 4850 and the GTX260

Radeon HD 4850 X2 1GB 512-bit (2 x 256-bit) GDDR3

VS

GeForce GTX 260 896MB 448-bit GDDR3

WHich one do YOU recomend

I want to play all my games on Max Resolution on a 22" monitor.

Depends on your resolution mate, playing games on high is tough stuff. You might look into the 1Gb 4870 or 2Gb 4870X2 if you have a ridiculous resolution like 2560x1600.

Out of the 2 I'd say the ATi card there, more memory is good for textures on high resolutions and dual core graphics is never a bad thing!

Yes, in fact "dual core" graphics are always a bad thing if there is no single card alternative as they carry the same heat, power, and (occasionally) compatibility problems as SLI/Crossfire.

Get the GTX 216. If you're nervous about it, get another one with reviews.

I personally think i should get the first one, but i am not sure. Just like the previous one there maybe something bad that i don't know about

Whats your opinion. what would YOU get for the best gaming at a 1680x1050 22" monitor

THANKS

Essentially all will be overkill at that res, but the 216 outperforms them all for cheaper and can be OC'd to the level of a GTX 280 so I'd just get that.

Ok, im getting the 260. can you teach me how to overclock it though.

I tried over clocking my 7600GT and 1. i never noticed a single tiny different, and 2. i don't think i did it right.

Install RivaTuner, push up the slider for core clock while keeping the others the same until it says it's unstable, lower it by 10mhz and test in a game, if it works great, if not keep lowering it.

Do the same with memory and shader clock, keeping the others at stock.

Once you've got stable on all three just use those values all at once.
