hi i want to have a video input cable which will take the yellow cable from the yellow red and white wires and display it on a monitor.

i found ones like tis on ebay but they say that they are for tv out. my question is this can these cables be used the other way around. so the yellow wire is the input and the vga is the output.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VGA-to-RCA-S-V...3286.m14.l1318

the cables seen are vga male to yellow wire female.

will this work?

thanks for the help

I dont think a cable by itself will suffice. I beliwve you need a converter like this one

Yeah that would do the trick ..... here is an English supplier, for the same unit, which gives a bit more info on its use ............. not sure the ebay one is a good idea from Hong Kong ?? , but that's your choice of course.

Hmmmmmm. ................. after reading the 15 negative feedbacks for this seller, me thinks this outfit might be best avoided altogether

Personally I would say .... stick to the first link I gave you :

http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Perip...roductId=28619

it's a well known outfit and, although a bit more expensive ..... at least you will get the goods
