Vista Says Display Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered

computer has bin ok since 2day now ever time i login i get this message and my scrren go black four 2 seconds
i have uninstalled all graphics drivers and re installed them and this keeps happening.
im stuck what to try next any ideas?

This is a known issue with Vista .... go to Nvidia's website and download the latest driver, that is supposed to solve it.

hmph, this happened to me, but on xp, if the above thread dosent work, then you might have to reinstall your operating system

I get it maybe once a month, I'm nVidia and Vista as well, personaly I'm not too phased, it's fairly rare on mine and it's only 1 or 2 seconds. My drivers weren't quite up to date, so I downloaded the latest yesterday, just waiting to see if that holds out or not.

Don't reinstall you're OS like above.. I'd be incredibly surprised if that resolved it, and it's really not worth the grief..
