My Intex LCD TFT monitor has suddenly started blinking and nothing is visible on screen. When I attached some other monitor to my CPU, it worked fine. What is the problem with LCD TFT monitor? I use Windows XP.

It could be resolution, try lowering it and see if it works.

If that makes no difference and another monitor works fine on the PC then it is faulty I'm afraid, it's normally cheaper to replace these things these days rather than repair them.

Thanks Mr. Dave for your suggestion. How should I lower the resolution?

Go into display properties in control panel and lower the resolution to something like 800x600.

You could also boot into safe mode, if the monitor doesn't work in safe mode it's 99% knackered.

Thanks again for your suggestion and help. I can boot into safe mode only when I see something on my monitor.

Ah, right, so it doesn't work in DOS either.

It's knackered, unless it's the cable like blackmirror suggested.

DOS? What's all this DOS nonsense? XP does not run on DOS.
It's a DOS emulator.
