What's the safest way to clean an LCD monitor screen?
I was eating at my computer and then I coughed. Now there's extra residue there. Can I just use water, or what? Thanks! Andrew |

I read on another thread that rubbing alcohol with a soft cloth is okay, so I did that. It seems to have done the trick, so I hope it was safe to do.=)

 I would avoid that, as well as petrol, white spirit etc.I use baby wipes, very good at cleaning, cheap and non-toxic. My System: Hybr!d

I pick up a pack of screen wipes from asda every few months for bout 50p which is our wal-mart. However, there identical to baby wipes mentioned by Dave.

and they are very good.
