 When does a widescreen get to wide?

Hello, im looking for a 32-42 1080p lcd for my pc and ps3 but im having trouble narrowing it down so could someone post up a good brand or model to point me in the right direction??
I saw a 37sharp d6u2 for dirt cheap, should I consider that model? ...
