I have been given this card, and was wondering if it would be compatible with my motherboard? Thanks!

Would I have to have the driver disc for the 8500 GT? Thanks!

No, you'd be better off just getting the newest ones off the web anyway.

but what model was your old card?
Might be just as good?

I built one a couple of months ago for a client, one problem I found and this is a weird one. Is that the video card was messing with the USB bus. I went back and updated the video driver and since they haven't had problems with their mouse. And yes they tried changing the mouse.
Other than that no problems, nice mobo.
