hi all, i want to use a pc compatible lcd tv, a 47 or 42 inch to play games on and watch movies on, im keeping my 19 inch monitor hooked up as well for using the net and the like, and then wall mounting the "big one" i will be sat quite far away from the screen when playing games etc. has anyone done this? will it look good? im also getting a new graphics card soon the 8800 gt i think its called, so dont know if this will make a difference.

47 inch flat screens have a max res of 1920 x 1080 so you may want to consider getting a gtx graphics card if you want to be playing your games on the max settings.

It will be quite similar to playing on a PS3 on a massive screen which I know is great!

excellent stuff, i just dont want to spend a grand or so on a screen for it to look rubbish, cheers for your replies guys
