Hi, not imperitive as I am dual booting XP Pro and Vista Ultimate, and XP is my primary OS, but I am having problems with the GF FX 5500 within Vista. I have installed the GeForce drivers from nVidia and so I don't hurt my eyes my monitor's refresh rate has to be the highest. However, my desired resolution of 1152x864 is not attainable in the new OS and 1280x1024 only allows a refresh rate of 60, which gives me a headache! Anyone got any ideas please?

Thanks! Do I install the XP drivers because there are no Vista drivers on the disc? The XP drivers would give me a BSOD though if I tried running anything graphic wouldn't they?

Use Vista drivers from the Nvidia website.

Do not use XP ones, they are obviously for a different operating system.

Failing that there is not much you can do, it is down to the manufacturer to support their products. If they do not offer drivers and/or fixes then your are stuck.
