Hi
Am starting to get into gaming on the PC.
At the moment i sadly have a rubbish 9600GS which came with the PC when bought it.
This card was ok for when i bought it, back then i only played WoW on the PC and all other games on the Xbox 360
Now i've started to enjoy playing high graphical games on the PC am wanting to upgrade my graphics card to something like Geforce GTX285 which i'd hope would play almost all modern games and last quite a while.
Theres just a few questions i have about the card, what problems i might have etc.
So firstly -
At the moment i have a AMD 9150e quadcore at 1.8 GHZ (7.2Ghz)
4 GB of RAM
(Am not on that PC so can't give full details)
now i've already found out that my motherboard and that is compatible with the new card but was wondering if there might be any other problems.
my friend said to me that the new card might cause a bottleneck in my system. even though am unsure of this would like to ask what you guys think?
Would a Geforce GTX285 cause a bottleneck in my system? i didn't think it would but my friend seems to think so thought i'd get some help on the matter!
Also, i've seen that some of the cards have 512MB another 1 GB and some 2 GB of memory ... Which would you say is the best one to get for the money?
Another thing is the PC has quite a small case i was wondering if this might can't cooling problems becaue i've had it in the past where i've had to get a new case because of this with my older PC.

Thank you and take care

The 4890 is a better deal. That CPU should not cause problems, but for the difference between a 85 and a 4890 you could probably buy a Phenom X3 720 if you were concerned.

Cooling problems are fairly rare in general, it may cause a problem. If your resolution isn't 1920x1080 or higher anyway, there's no reason to buy such a powerful card. In that case, you shouldn't have any cooling problems with something like a 4770 or 4850.
