Hey, I was thinking of buying Need For Speed: Undercover, until I read the requirements. It requires a Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent. Then on processor speed it reads, Vista: 3.2Ghz or faster. Now I only have a 2.66Ghz Intel i7 920 processor. Will I be able to run the ...

Hey, I was thinking of buying Need For Speed: Undercover, until I read the requirements. It requires a Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent. Then on processor speed it reads, Vista: 3.2Ghz or faster. Now I only have a 2.66Ghz Intel i7 920 processor. Will I be able to run the game with a good frame rate, everything on high detail and without any lag?

pentium 4 is a single core processor, you have a quad core. The processor speed is not an issue!
And providing you have decent about of ram, and a good graphics card, then yes, it will run it fine. |

No problem.
Just worth a mention, that game is pretty old, maybe too old to mention Dual/Tri/Quad cores, newer games often say eg 3ghz single core, 1.8ghz dual core required etc etc |
