Hi guys
im currently building my computer and my motherboard has 4 ram slots 2 pairs one slot is yellow and one is black should i install both lots of RAM into one pair or put both in black/yellow slots

Yeah different coloured slots means the mobo is supports dual channel, so yeah ideally you should have the exact same amount of ram in each socket the same colour, e.g. 512x512 or 1gbx1gb

Yes because it effectively doubles the bus speed between the CPu and memory controller, making the PC more responsive. ( i think anyway)

Simply put yes it is good.

Basically doubles the transfer rate of data ie if your single transfer rate is 100 it doubles it up.So its good
