Alright so a few months ago I installed WoW in this computer but I uninstalled it bcuz i got bored, but now I decided to play it again and I tried installing it but! before i could start a window pop-uped saying that My ram was too low, so i couldnt play it! This never happened b4 so i decided to look into it, I checked the specs of my computer and it said it had 328MB of ram! i was like "wtf?" SOOO I decided to look closer into this problem, so i took off the cover and looked at the ram for myself and I found out that it was a 512MB so then I am so confused and stuff, like how the heck could this happen? I am using a Windows XP maybe multiple accounts? anyone know what the problem might be!

But if I do have to buy a new RAM Could u tell me which one would work for my computer, I just want a 512mb or something cheap, but good enough to play WoW, My computer Specs are
  • Maximum Memory Capacity: 1024 MB

I can only assume the missing memory has been used by onboard graphics.
Download CPUZ from downloads section to give better details of the memory you need or even better post the model number of your motherboard.

Main Memory • Supports two 184-pin DDR SDRAMs up to 2GB memory size

• Supports DDR400*/DDR333 DDR SDRAM (*Refer to MSI recommended modules) Due to the High Performance Memory design, motherboards or system configurations may or may not operate smoothly at the JEDEC (Joint Electron Device Engineering Council) standard settings (BIOS Default on the motherboard) such as DDR voltage, memory speeds and memory timing. Please confirm and adjust your memory setting in the BIOS accordingly for better system stability.
Example: Kingston HyperX DDR500 PC4000 operates at 2.65V, 3-4-4-8, CL=3.
For more information about specification of high performance memory modules, please check with your Memory Manufactures for more details.

So you need 184 pin DDR400.
