There's a lot of reasons to spend money on RAM but it depends what you use your PC for..
If you play games and have a 64 bit OS then sure, why not. If you sure the web and play the odd flash game, it's $300 you could spend on something else |

Uh, if your figure is correct, $300 on RAM is never justifiable. 4GB of DDR3-1600 is $80 in the states and probably under $150 there.

4Gb of DDR3 1600 for $80?? Jeez, it's silly money in England.
Cheapest 6Gb I can find is £95.59.. Be cheaper to order it from USA and get it shipped over.. lol Point remains that it's daft to spend $300 on RAM |
