| well my computer is running a memory of 256mb 400 Mhz DDR SDRAM it specifies that it has DDR and SDRAM i never heard such thing does it DDR and SD different?... well im a noob actually.... the fact is i want to upgrade my memory which is a branded one, a PCI and has a memory of 256 and im using a HP pavilion.... MY question is when i upgrade my memory what should i ask them? DDR or SD? or it`s just one? |

| If your wanting to upgrade,ask for PC3200 (400MHz) SD DDR RAM, but if you ask for DDR they will know what you mean. |

| SDRAM mean single date rate, DDR means dubble date rate...dont think there is such a thing as DDR SDRAM...is there?

| so your saying "Axegrinder" that there is a DDR SDRAM existing combined?? because when i say to a dealer if they has a DDR they will ask me if it`s a DDR1 or DDR2... PC-400, or 533 that`s what they asking me do i have to say i want a SD DDR Ram? instead of asking DDR only |
