Grab that one in Comet that philthomas linked to. As a matter of fact I think I saw it in the store yesterday, with a special christmas price on it. Very good value.

If your local computer store is going to quote you rubbish like that, do yourself (and them) a favor and go somewhere else. I know it is nice to support the 'little guy', but when they try to sell you years out of date kit and then try to offload you with Norton as well, then tbh they clearly have no idea. I wouldn't trust them from what you have said.

I'll also back Dave up saying the service from Ebuyer is impeccable, and I find it much easier getting a return from them than from an instore retailer. If the item breaks, or is dead on arrival, they'll send a carrier who will package it up when he collects it. Great service, and good prices.
