Hi just read a review of AMDs new quad core cpu, and although its seems their on the right track, with a cooler quietier, 45nm process, ,they are or still seem to be playing catch-up, even with intels 2yo Q6600 (on a 65nm)which just lost at stock speeds but beat the new Phenom totally at overclocking, think ill stay with intel for new build still guys

i agree. the phenom 2 is an improvement to the phenom series but it cannot compare to any intel quad core, even the q9400 which is a little cheaper.

Hi mate ive used AMD since the athlon xp days and through until my last build (new build will have intel)have always thought they where the best, until INTEL burst back on the scene with their new cpus what two year ago and now its AMD playing catch-up with INTEL,
bangs for bucks INTEL are far better for the home builder/overclocker
