Hi Thingie.

I've perused some forums, talked to some people and no-ones quoting any issues with this board aside from the usual "I don't know what I'm doing so I'll blame it on the motherboard" gripes.

Still, it is 780i, which offers no tangible benefit (my opinion) over 680i other than pci-e 2.0 support. With the psu and gpu you're installing this is academic anyway.

Still, your money your choice.

Ok, thanks Alex I think I will stick with this board as I'm hoping this build will last me for wuite a while so I want as much of the up to date stuff as possible. And do you know if the RAM is compatible, because I have seen two different specs for the board (both on manufaturer's website (use link above)) that say different things, one says that RAM is fine, the other doesn't like it.

Thanks

The board will recognise the ram at it's stock settings.

But, as always, upon booting for the first time enter the bios and double check the ram settings to ensure the speed and timings are correct.
