| Okay. I had this overclocked from 2.4 to 2.6ghz (on a Asus K8V-X mobo and std cooler) but it crashed at random intervals when i switched it on. Do i need to increase the voltage or what or get a new cooler to make it 'go' at 2.6+? |

| I have no experience with you particular chip but increasing voltage to the CPU is the usual way to help with stability problems.

Also check the Ram speed, when you overclock the cpu the Ram will be overclocked aswell unless you use a divider. You should always monitor temps when overclocking. Find out what the safe operating temp for your CPU is before you do anything. If you dont understand some of these terms then you dont understand the basics. Anyone can learn to overclock if they have patience.Similarly anyone can damage their hardware if they dont. Please research what you are doing before you go messing around.
