Default Beeping on Boot Up

I am getting a slow long, repeating bleep when booting up. I have just replaced the power supply and all seems ok.
I have connected all cables correctly, and I have also isolated each piece of hardware to try and eliminate bleep which occures either when no peripherals are connected or not.
I am wondering if it is a memory issue which may have got damaged when the PSU blew.

What motherboard do you have and how many times does it beep, the amount of beeps is an indication of where the problem is

POST beep guide

Sounds to me like "No Power, Loose Card, or Short".

Interesting! The beeps are long, slow and continuous. Where do you think the short could arise.
PSU is bolted back in as before, I have checked all power supply input connections etc.

Can I go back to the Memory. Does any one this this might be a memory issue. If I take out the memory and boot, the beeps are the same.

Are the bleeps all of the same duration ? .... if not go back to Carbons link above and see if you can match to one of those listed.

If the PSU blew it's possible that the mobo is damaged.

Slow long bleeps all spaced the same and continuous. Yes it could be the MB, CPU or RAM. Can't think what else unless I am missing something really simple.

Most often the mobo will blow b4 the CPU .... chances are the CPU will still be good and possibly the RAM.
