hello i have a windows 98 and want to use some firm ware to make it compatible with harddisk drives ect.. what is the best firmware that i could use and where can i download it from?...

If is a bios update that you are referring to then you should only ever use one from the mobo manufacturers website. But, it being so old, that may not be possible.

The other option would be a raid card, but again, because it's so old it may well not support a modern one.
