 bios stops at Primary channel I have reinstalled win xp on a asus p400 with a sata hd/ every thing was good untill i installed sp2, and rebooted now the boot screen bios goes trough its regular ruteen every thing looks good untill it gets to primary channel it stops there with a curser blinking after it, I tried to boot as the hd/ first with a boot disk or the org xp dsk but the same thing. it wont boot w, the cd/rom it sees it but it wont boot from it. PLease help,,, this has happened befor but i took it someware and the guy fixed in no time ,, this was a while ago, Brustlhr       |

| bios stops at Primary channel Will it boot anything else from a CD/DVD? (Like a live version of Linux?) Do you have a genuine bootable XP CD? |

| bios stops at Primary channel Yes a genuine win cd and it will not even boot to acronis, I do not have a linux disk, Brustlhr |
