when i first bought the computer id get occasional blue screens saying my bios isnt acpi (i think) compliant

so i rang evesham and they sent me a bios update disk, i rang them and it was all good

since formating my computer i got the problems back again

ive tried booting the disk and nothing happens, just says something about windows 98

it does say on the disk

'boot from the CD and run update.bat from DOS prompt'

i could ring them and they step me through it, but i thought id ask you lot first

first try underclocking your ram 1 step (e.g. underclock 533 to 400) that worked for me!!

also make sure that all the hotfixes are installed for your os and gpu etc, but try the above first as its more likely to be the case.
