Default BIOS update gone wrong :0

i'v been trying to get rid of all the problems with my computer ever since i made it. last thing i was trying to fix was my graphics card which from several crashes and a blue screen of death led me to talk to their (ATI) customer care.
after trying several of their suggestions i come to update to latest drivers (done), update BIOS of your motherboard and update your chipset if their are more updates available.

i have an Asrock 4CoreDual-SATA2, i found the update that suited me (the one that was linked with my graphics card - "Modify for ATI 2xxx graphics cards", i have Sapphire HD 2400PRO 256mb).

i followed the instructions carefully and checked the new version had successfully installed after i rebooted the system (it had) so then reverted to defult settings then saved and exited. to find windows wasn't loading up, i just get a blank screen showing nothing.
any help would be awesome

From what you've said it's post'ing. Which is good.

Can you get into your bios? If so check the boot sequence as flashing a new bios can reset the boot order.

Did you make any changes to the original bios before the flash? if so, and you didn't reset to defaults, again, prior to the flash, then you may have pretty much ruined it.

You may need to simply format the hdd and reinstall the o.s.
