| I just broke the Battery Terminal on my Mother Board. I have an old board that has a matching mount type and was wondering if any one had some tips before I start soildering it in this afternoon. |

| yes be careful! i have never hard of anybody doing anything like this so i cant offer any more advice than that

| Use as narrower iron as you can. And as lower wattage as you can. You don't want to put too much heat into the board. I also suggest putting a crocodile clip or something metal on to the connector temporarily to act as a heat sink to absorb some of the heat. Be careful and it should be fine.
