None of us have ever seen your board and it is unlikely you will be able to get a new motherboard for a laptop. If you told us what the parts you were talking about looked like, we might be able to help. RAM sticks? HDD? PCMCIA card?

First post: "hi, i need some help to id 2 parts on my compact NX9020 motherboard so i can order some new ones", yeah, what part? the motherboard! not the ram, not the hdd, not the pcmcia...

You can order a new motherboard for a laptop, prices go from 200USD to about 300USD... Really no problem, except for the price..

Know exactly how that part(s) looks like. A black square, 8 pins soldered on the motherboard. (With a black hole/burst/crack in the middle)

The parts are part of the powerdistribution (from adapter to battery and adapter to board) on the board. The laptop works fluently with full batteries, but can't charge them... so only runs for about 2 hours... and stops after that, untill you found new charged batteries...

mimicking the battery is hard (i failed), since the battery is a computer on it's own, down try to put the 12.8 and 4.8v the battery gives directly on those points... it will ruin your board;)
