Is it the CPU temps he is worried about, could be a broken blade on CPU fan.

Why is he saying that the system is overheatign? Is it crashing randomly? If so, and your friend is too protective over his PC, then next time you go around, go to C:\Windows\Minidump, grab the last few .dmp files and PM them to me. I'll do a quick debug in order to find out what the problem might me...

I agree with Dave, it will probably be dirty fans. unlikely to be broken fins as if your freidn is very protective over the computer there probably won't have been anything near the fans to break them. All you need to do, is either blow compressed air at the fans (could use a bike pump or something similar if nothing else is avaliable, but isn't ideal) the other thing you could do, but is less advisable, is get a hoover and suck the dust off (this is what I did) but you have to be carefull you don't hit anything.

on the stablility test and it stays at that temp for 7 hours with no errors on the stability test so theres nothing to worry about. i'll need new fan soon lol
