Default Connecting up

sorry wrong section

Hi guys

Well I connected everything up with some very much appreciated help from Elijah but have a few small plugs that I can't find a home for. I figured the HD audio goes into my sound card and my 1394 plug goes into the ie 1394 slot but I can't find where the AC 97' goes and have checked the manual, i also have another 9 small female pin with USB on the side but I can see 3 or 4 usb pin clusters on the mother board with different numbers

can anyone shed some light

Hi Alex
yes they look like they connect to the headphone and microphone sockets on the outside of the case, just not sure which one plugs into the soundcard.
Also regarding plugging the hard drive in i've decided to use the molex for power for the information does that just go into SATA 2?
I already have my optical drive in SATA 1.
cheers

It doesn't really matter where you plug the SATA cable into on the motherboard. Any SATA socket will do.

Hi SG
yes I did mate, basically I read that you can use either HD Audio or AC97 but they recommend using HD Audio. Then you just configure it using BIOS
