I bought my Processor about 6 months back i think its the E6320. It ran cool for a really long time and about 2 months back my friend told me how to overclock my CPU. From 1.86GHz I overclocked to about 2.5. It ran at about 35C and now it is about 55 which is pretty high. I think it might be because I applied a lot of thermal paste (was my first build) so i was wondering what is the best way to clean the goop off. Some people say dont use alcohol.

This might help when your re applying the thermal paste, but to get rid of the "goop" use a credit card or something similar to scrape of as much as you can, you can use alcohol but i never have so its not critical.

Your video doesn't work.

Use a lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol.
