Cew27, what idle/load temps do you get with your arctic freezer. And what room ambient/ghz for that temp. im just curious, i like to keep my options open for future upgrades.

The Tuniq is quite simply thee best hsf on the market today. The rest are pretenders....except for the AC7 pro. And the Titan Amanda, but as thats a TEC and extremely expensive I won't mention it further.

The Tuniq is the better hsf for overclockers who aren't using liquid cooling as it runs a cpu around 1-2c cooler than the AC7.

But. It easily exceeds a motherboards stress limits...and with Intel's mounting system being what it is this isn't good. It's also very expensive in comparision to the AC7 and much louder at peak. You also can struggle to fit it into cases.

The AC7 is none of the above; well within a mobo's limits, about a third of the price of the Tuniq and it'll fit most any case.

i've used them both and oc'd with them both and for a rig I was going to oc i'd have the Tuniq. For a rig I might oc I'd have the AC7.
