Newegg recently ran out of the Phenom 720 and it's going to cost me 178 (S+H included) to get it off the next cheapest/trustworthy site. I looked at the X4 prices on newegg, and I can get this one for the same price: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16819103291

The mobo appears to be compatible with about anything http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16813128387 so I wonder if it would be better for me to go with that instead.

Also, I could dish out an extra 20$ and get this one: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16819103650

Let me know what you think would be best.

Personally i'm an Intel fan and have only ever used intel processors... well apart from an old althlon 2000 i put into a pretty old computer... but if your going AMD the Phenom 720 gets good reviews and like you said goes in pretty much any motherboard that has a descent chipset

I saw a tumbleweed blowing past this thread haha
