Default cpu frequency!!

it may have underclocked its self, try loading defaults in teh bios and if that doesnt work find out the voltage for your processor and the stock multiplier and then set it manually through the bios

What? Make computers user friendly? You kidding?

Is your BIOS at version 0802?

Carbon will become famous soon enough
Default cpu frequency!!

What they said - also, you may just try bumping that FSB up a little bit to get it to the correct speed.

Depending on your multiplier, and if the Phenom is a 1333FSB processor, it could be that as well. A motherboard with a 1066FSB might set it lower so that you ended up with a lower-clocked processor or something, but that seems unlikely considering the difference in clock speed is only .4GHz.

Yes, what he said: again, you want to check for BIOS updates before messing with clock speeds. My suggestion was meant as "in case that other suggestion doesn't work" :)
