Default CPU temprature malfunction???

Hey

I have just made a new computer, but now when i boot up the computer a siren begins to go off after a few seconds. i managed to get straight into bios to watch my cpu temprature rapidly rise from 60 degrees to 90 degrees in a matter of seconds. i know this amount of temprature rise is normal but the fact that the temprature started at 60 degrees and not room temprature baffles me?

any help would be greatly appreciated this is a very annoying problem.

thanks in advance

Always check thermal paste. My old Desktop died a horrible, horrible death. It was drier than a desert. Keep tabs. =P
