hi i was just thinking of upgrading my cpu in my laptop at the moment it's a:
  • Intel Celeron M 370 Processor 1.5GHz
  • 400 MHz FSB, 1 MB Cache
    does anyone know what i can upgrade too? :D

Go to support or products or something, find your model in the list of this site:
http://www.advent.co.uk/

locate the mobo info, copy all the motherboard info and paste it here so i can have a look.

the info still isnt detailed enough. I need in depth details about the motherboard or atleast the mobos brand and model.

I still cant get onto the site, i cant do anything now, my isp is messing about.

Hi Donvaux.

It's not going to be as simple as i suspect you think it is.

You'll need to ensure the chassis as is (cooling arrangement for cpu: heatpipes, cooling area) will deal with the heat put out by the new cpu.

You've also got to take into account the power required to run the new cpu; can the chassis provide enough power.

I'd highly recommend chatting to the manufacturer.

CPU upgrades in laptops are not worth the hassle tbh with you. I was thinking of upgrading mine once upon a time.

How much RAM have you got?

If it's low than that would be a much easier and beneficial upgrade.
