Will this CPU "AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ AM2 3.2GHz (BLACK EDITION)" work in an Asus A8N-SLI motherboard,and if so how do I go about swapping it,I dont mean the actual physical side but what do I need to do once I have installed the new CPU.
PS if this CPU wont work with this motherboard what is the best one that I could install,at the minute I have an AMD Athlon 64X2 4200+ CPU.

That CPU is AM2 which is a different socket, you have a socket 939 mobo so it wont work
And to be honest, you have a good overclocking motherboard so you will be able to overclock your CPU to the speeds of the faster ones, so there is really no point in you buying another CPU

.....And considering how bloomin' easy it is to o.c nowadays it's something well worth trying.

Anyone care to talk me through it I'v never overclocked anything before I have swapped out a GPU and a motherboard and even a PSU oh and changed the memory but overclocking is new to me.Will over clocking allow me to play MOH Airborne my PC runs it but is real laggy.

Overclocking your graphics card will help more than overclocking your cpu in the case of this game as it's not really dependent on the cpu, more so the gpu.

What graphics card do you have?

I think from his profile, he is running 2x6600le's, so it would be better if he upgraded his graphics cards

Thats right I have 2 6600LE's and MOH wont work with SLI,what would you recommend I upgrade to and the specs for the game state a minimum CPU of 2.8 I think mine is only 2.2 also Bioshock runs very laggy as well.Anyway £for£ what GPU should I buy I would like to keep NVIDIA what one card will be better than my two because when I run test in PCPITSTOP I get better results when SLI is disabled.

2.8 is for single core, you are running dual-core
Your CPU is fine you just need to upgrade your Graphics card

Nothing to dear maybe £70 to £90 what do you recommend and should I sell my other two cards on ebay dosnt matter how much I get but what do you reckon there worth

What versions are they 128mb or 256mb

Test my hardware says they are 256mb but I dont know if that is combined

You may be able to get about 30-40 each for them, but that is just a guestimate
If you are going to stay with Nvidia, get a 7900GT or GTO, they cost about the same as you want to spend

What about this card Gainward GeForce 8500GT 256MB DDR3 PCI-Express DVI/Tv-out Silent FX I take it that my card is a PCI-E seen this for £58 would tou say that it is much better than the two cards I have in or should I still go for a 7900GT.

I'd say they'd be on par to be honest (the 8500 and 6600) looking at the specs.

The 7900GT is an awesome card considering the cost now. Although Nvidia's 8 series cards do allow you access to DX10 gaming.
