Default Dead M/B ??

Hi,

PC would not switch on today running fine last night - have cleared CMOS and remove / replace battery. Have unplugged everything except memory, CPU & graphics.

It is a MSI MS-7125 V1 board with the diagnostic LEDs attached. It is halting on the Floppy Drive initilaisation.

Is there anything I can do or is this an indication the board is gone?

Thanks, Simon

Thanks - Floppy is physically disconnected. All I had was CPU memory & Graphics card connect to the M/B.

Found that the digital input to the monitor was dead. Hooked up via analogue input and it boots fine.

Thanks for the response
