Hi i recently got a new pc with 2gb of ram in it two seperate sticks and was wondering if my old ram on my pc would be suitable to use for my new one to tho since that pc was 3years roughly old im not to sure if i should put it in. The old ram is a Infineon 512mb DDR 333 mhz CL2.5 64Mx64 SDRAM.

Any ideas guys would be most helpful. I know i should buy the same ram again but would this suffice for now?

I Doubt it as your new computer will probably be running DDR2 ram and your old ram is DDR, you will find the notch is in a different place so it will not fit

Why would you want to do this if you've already got 2GB of RAM anyway?
