there are 3 parts alu = arithmetic logic unit - this carries out simple arithmetic equasions and logical decisions registers = small amount of temporary memory in the cpu wich stores the data that is being processed control unit = controls what the cpu is prcessing and when it should process it My System: Cewy's wonder macine
