I have recently been posting with regards to my first PC build, which has finally started to work properly.
However, i do have one niggle that is bugging me. I cannot get my RAM to work in dual-channel mode. This is my RAM:http://www.corsair.com/_datasheets/T...048-6400C4.pdf This is my MOBO: http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1...74&modelmenu=1 Currently i have my two sticks of RAM in slots A1 and A2, NOT as i understand it the dual-channel slots, which should be either A1/B1 or A2/B2. When i try to boot with RAM in dual-channel slots the PC will not reach past the BIOS boot page!! Does this indicate dodgy RAM? Do i need to manually adjust the settings in BIOS in some way? Being a complete amateur at this (my first build remember) i am at a loss as to how to achieve it

Sorry for the late reply.
This indicates dodgy RAM or a dead DIMM slot. You might also check voltage settings.

Have you tried in both possible duel channel configurations?

Try A1/B1, if this doesn't work try A2,B2.
