Anybody else heard any inside news about future orders of this processor?

It's been short stocked in many retailers / etailers, which in turn has pumped the price up considerably, which has p*ssed me off as I'm wanting to get one within the next month or so but it's looking as though they will be reaching £200 by that time.

Most people say it's Intel restricting supply as they know the demand is high, therefore simply waiting for the price to rise, as it naturally would.

Also, has anybody purchased one and has any problems with it?

You can also grab a 8200, but I think Intel is trying to push people towards the 8500 as well.

Much rather get an E8400, looks like it's just a game of waiting.

The new 45nm Quads are just around the corner too, so it'll be good to see what effect they have. Saying that, probably nothing...

Out of stock now matey.

If I can shift my current rig then I can start scouting around, but the wallet won't let me buy anything just yet!

Think 133 is one of the cheapest I've seen, it's competitive with AriaPC, but Scan has gone through the roof at £150+
