Hi, I don't know if this sounds stupid, but can you get external RAM like you can get an external hard drive????

Thanks

Only on Vista.

Vista can utilise memory on an ipod or USB stick.

Although there isn't much point in it to be honest.

Why not get more internal RAM?

It's easy to fit.

I have fitted more RAM to my other computer, though there is only so much the CPU can take, as I'm sure you know

If the CPU can only handle X RAM, why would it be able to handle external but not internal once you hit the limit?

That's not what I know, because that statement is incorrect.

How much RAM you can have is denoted by your motherboard NOT your CPU. :D
