Default Finally got a new computer!

Yes, and its pretty good as well; I can run UT3 on high-ish settings etc but I only got 1GB of ram with it because its all I could afford then, and I thought it would probably be cheaper to buy some of my own ram to put into the machine. So I went to Crucial.com and did the thing on the front page and it directed me to this 2GB ram set for £30! I thought wow! But it seems a little fishy being that cheap... could anyone tell me it its OK and if it isn't, could they reccomend any others?

Heres the RAM: http://crucial.com/store/mpartspecs....1951B4A5CA7304

That's a US site so add VAT and Duty to the price.

You can get Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800mhz for £44 from Scan.

And I've seen generic ram on scan, at the same speed, for around £30 for 2 1gb dimms.

I'd suggest Ebuyer and such are also as cheap.

Have a nosey at UK sites as well.

Default Finally got a new computer!

Have a look on Novatech

I buy all my computer parts from them and I buy a lot of stuff and never have any problems at all. Great prices and they are great people to deal with.
