I have recently had to replace my motherboard.
On the original, a full size motherboard, the front panel connector required the 2 pin "power on" LED to fit in a 3 pin format, ie cable - blank - cable and that is what is in the case. The new board (a micro ATX) has a slightly different arrangement in that the LED "power on" connector requires a fitting 2 style connector, ie cable - cable, with no blank in between. So the cable in the case will not fit. Is there an adaptor available? Because I cannot find one. It does not stop the PC working but is annoying nonetheless. Also can anybody explain to me the rather curious DRAM configuration settings in the pheonix BIOS what does 2T mean? I cannot find a guide to explain all this. |

There won't be an adaptor, there are just too many variations.

I'm guessing you have a branded PC, getting a custom case will mean you will get front panel goodies that will connect to your motherboard. My System: Hybr!d

It wasn't a branded case its a Tsunami - but it is about 5/6 years old. So should I saw the existing connector in 1/2?
