it gives me the options to press F6 to instal 3rd party RAID or SCSI Drivers, then it loads files onto the HD then when its done that is says

Starting Windows

and then blue screen, nothing from the CD to format to get rid of the old copy of XP, which is what i know i have to do.

Wolfe i cant seem to PM you, but i can give you the details of a TeamSpeak Channel if you want so you can talk me through it?

Medic
As I explained earlier we must converse in the forum only.
Here is the reason why.
Should any of the team become involved in PM over any given issue, then we will be tied up and therefore cannot give full support to other members who perhaps require immediate attention.
Would you agree that this is fair?

Does the CD say something along the lines of "For reinstallation of XP on a MESH pc only"

If the board is recognising the drive and you are using a proper XP disk then you should be able to format the hard drive using that.

If it was scratched and the optical drive was not recognising it then you need to procure a new XP disk.

Do you have a floppy drive and we will go down the Fdisk route.

Hey Medic.

The article is now live.

Just go through this a step at a time. Any concerns, issues, doubts etc then post back.

By its very nature a BSOD is a huge cause for concern, but they are usually fixable. So take heart!

Here if you need me.
