can anyone say how to overclock my q6600 and after that what are the coolers that i need to use to prevent my system cpu from burning out
please specify the cooler i need and the price at its best

well it entirely depends on how far you want to go, if you want around 3.0ghz an arctic cooling freezer pro 7 will do you well, if you want to go higher then go with a cooler master v8 if you have the money, this cooler is supposed to be the next best thing to watercooling, you can check out the review here http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=4BT-GbRBdiQ

lol quad 2.4GHz isnt enough ? but my friend did 3.2GHz with stock fan, it wasnt hard i guess

The AC7 has long been inferior to the multitude of HDT coolers flooding the market. You're not going to get much on a quad but if you want to try this get a Xigmatek S1283.

From what I hear, upping the Bus Speed to 1333 from 1066 will boost the clock speed to just over 3.0 GHz and takes about 15 seconds. Enjoy!

but always remember to be careful and sure of your numbers. One wrong move and your cpu is fried.

For serious overclocking it is worth investing into another fan. The stock fan is perfectly suitable for reasonable overclocking. But might not want to over do it.
