I am currently running an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4800+ 2.50 GHz and NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 512 MB Graphics on the Acer Manufactured F690GVM Motherboard. I want to know which of those two I should upgrade first, the processor or the graphics, to get the best out of modern games. Also if anyone have any suggestions on what to upgrade to from what I have that would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks

Games are massively GFX card dependent, upgrading that would see the biggest boost in game performance.

Your current cpu is fine m8,
better upgrading your graphics card to see a better performance in games and such like,
be nice to know how much ram you have though, and concerning wot you upgrade to
its a matter of how much u want to spend

$200 to buy a PSU with max 400 - 500W (I got 250W) and either a 8800 GT or 9800 GT.

Uh, no, it won't cost you $200 for the PSU. It'll cost you less than $50 to get a quality unit.

If you have that much money to blow, I'd do a 4850 or a GTX 260.

I meant $200 for both the PSU and the card together. I think the 4850 wont fit under my budget.
