How have you *tweaked* your pc?
with software for shutting down programs or just manually shutting down?
As Dave Hybrid asks what are the specs of the pc?
with overclocking you can get great results but be careful as its also dangerous to the cpu, cpu fan and psu when you do,
so great caution is required when and if you decide to overclock and at your own risk

Being a laptop the BIOS is probably locked, that and heat is an issue as it is and it's not like you can strap a big fan to it. No dice I'm afraid.

You could try this to overclock but i dont know if it will find the ppl required to change clock speeds
Most laptops are limited to overclocking as there bios is locked and normally set at near max, just use slow increases and you might get a boost
